Michael Stryker

Michael married the former Barbara Duke in 1984. They raised two lovely daughters, Michelle and Shannon and are now blessed with three wonderful grandchildren, Troy, Regina, and Virginia. They currently reside in Bellaire, Texas with their three rescued dachshunds. 

Michael is a long-time member of St. Luke’s UMC where he enjoys serving as a greeter for the contemporary service and is small group leader. He is also a mentor for the Kid’s Hope organization, and mentors students at Sutton Elementary School in Southwest Houston. He is also actively involved with the Jubilee Prison Ministry. 

Michael’s favorite bible verse is from Psalm 27:1, “The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?” 

Michael is a CPA and the controller for Parten Operating Inc. and its affiliated companies. Parten has oil and gas and ranching operations in East Texas.
