From Survival Mode to Standing Strong: Jana’s Journey Into Freedom Through TPM 201

When Jana first came to TPM, she was broken and still in survival mode, and God has been teaching her, step by step, how to stand again with Him. She had always believed in bringing her emotions to the Lord, but through a personal healing retreat last fall and a couple of follow-up sessions, she caught a glimpse of the beauty of TPM. It pinpointed lies she’d never been able to reach in counseling. TPM not only uncovered the lies, but made room for the Holy Spirit to convince her of truth. It made all the difference.

Like many who’ve experienced sessions, Jana started wondering, could I do this on my own? She tried, but it was in TPM 201 that everything opened up. She learned where to start and how to walk through the process with herself far more effectively, and she’s since climbed out of a deep rut and, in her words, “gotten rid of big baggage that was keeping me from living life.”

Jana didn’t sign up for 201 hoping to minister to others. She simply longed for freedom in her own heart. (Today she mentors in TPM sessions, but that came later, as a gift she didn’t see coming.) If you’ve had sessions and find yourself wondering whether you could learn to meet the Lord this way on your own, Jana’s story is your invitation.
