Carrie Bonk
Carrie and her husband, Dan, relocated to Bellville, Texas, in 2020 from San Antonio, Texas, where she served as the Minister of Connections and Events at Oak Hills Church. Carrie has 17 years of ministry experience.
After graduating from Butler University with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree she enjoyed a career in Infusion Pharmacy Leadership. While seeking a classical educational option for their children, her focus shifted to public education reform in 2000. As the Co-Founder of a Charter School in Wisconsin, she gained experience in nonprofit leadership and fund development by leading the Charter School and its Foundation. Carrie founded Bonk Consulting LLC, to share her experience in strategic planning, non-profit management, and fund development with nonprofit organizations. Upon a job transfer for her husband, Carrie was asked to be the Executive Director for the Wisconsin Charter School Association. Shortly thereafter, the Lord called Carrie into full time ministry. If asked, Carrie will tell you she is passionate about sharing the love and hope of Jesus with others and helping them discover next steps in their spiritual journey. She will also tell you that TPM has been a game changer, to know the truth allows you to live the truth.

As the Senior Director of Strategy and Retreats, her desire is to lead in a dynamic and continuous process that provides the roadmap toward achieving the mission and vision of Serenity Retreat.
Carrie is a connector, has a deep faith and the spiritual gift of hospitality. Carrie and Dan have been married for 29 years and have two adult children who both reside in Texas. In her spare time, Carrie loves travel, cooking, public speaking, enjoying activities with her family and mentoring young women.
