Lisa Lee

Lisa was raised in North Texas, graduated TWU-Denton with a degree in Chemistry and later earned a BS in Pharmacy from the University of Houston. Lisa met her husband, Chung, while they both worked in the Texas Medical Center. Chung was an anesthesia resident and Lisa a pharmacy student. Fast forward to God’s blessing of 3 daughters and the provision to become a stay-at-home mom for many years while serving in her home church and in leadership positions in Bible Study Fellowship for over 18 years.

In a second career pursuit, Lisa attended Seminary at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, graduating in 2018 with a Masters in Christian Education and followed a path to create a social entrepreneur business serving those in short-term missions and in humanitarians fields (www.justkindhumility.org). The inspiration for this came from Micah 6:8 and culminated in further pursuing a Masters in Humanitarian and Disaster Leadership at Wheaton College, graduating in 2021. Lisa is currently involved in global community development and poverty alleviation in Ethiopia through Children’s HopeChest and is working part-time with PAIR Houston, a non-profit that seeks to mentor and help refugee students succeed in American schools and prepares them to become community leaders.
