Preparing for New Wine: Why TPM 201 Immersive Is the Next Step You’ve Been Waiting For

By Barbara Rolen, Program Director, Serenity Retreat  You know that feeling when you can sense God's up to something, but you're not quite sure what it is yet? That's bee…

Barbara Rolen

Barbara graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education from Lamar University. Although she took a break from teaching to raise her two young sons, she enjoyed 18 cumulative years teaching in public and private schools. It was a natural segue when God called her into children’s ministry for almost 2 decades. Most recently she served as the Assistant Director for Neighborhood KidZ Club, a non-profit that ministers to underserved children, youth, and families by bringing the gospel right to their neighborhood.

Over a decade ago, Barbara first experienced the life-changing process of renewing one’s mind with God’s truth through the powerful tool of TPM. Since 2013 she has joyfully served as a prayer minister for Serenity Retreat and has sought to continually refine her skills so she can effectively equip others in utilizing TPM as a lifelong tool to cooperate with God. Simultaneously, Barbara is passionate about passing on what she has learned so that Christian parents can ground their children in their true identity in Christ and continually point them to God for His perspective in all situations.

She resides in Katy, TX and is a member of the Vineyard Church of Katy where she serves in children’s, women’s, and prayer ministry. She enjoys spending time with her grown sons who live in the area, as well as reading, listening to music, playing games, taking walks, connecting with friends, and mentoring women.
