Chris is an empathetic and innovative Development Coordinator with over 15 years of progressive experience within the non-profit field. She joined Serenity Retreat in February 2022. Prior to that, she served as Director of Development for One Voice Texas and United Against Human Trafficking. She considers herself a servant leader who is passionate about causes that create meaningful change within the community. She prides herself in cultivating positive relationships that, with proper nurturing, establish life-long donors and volunteers. She is a thought leader and strategist with a proven track record of donor cultivation, event management, and strategic planning. Her constant goal is to uplift, inspire, and encourage others to be their best selves.

She is the proud mother of her son, Shyheim, a college student who plays basketball at Penn State New Kensington. She is a church member at Hope City in Houston, TX. Above all, she credits God almighty for the many blessings he has placed in her life.
