Once you have viewed the Theophostic Basic Seminar, you may want to be trained in Theophostic prayer. Our one-year Apprenticeship Program will give you a chance to learn from experienced Theophostic prayer ministers, and later to begin to facilitate prayer on your own. PROSPECTIVE APPRENTICE
~ Completes Basic Theophostic Seminar – 12 wk. course
~ Reads entire Theophostic Basic Seminar Manual (Fall 2007 version)
~ Interviews with Rev. Kathy Eason, Director of Prayer
~ Signs release for background check
~ Provides contact information for Pastor Reference
~ Signs volunteer agreement

APPRENTICE
~ Joins a Prayer Group under a prayer Group Leader (3-5 people)
~ Attends weekly Prayer Group sessions for six months to receive prayer in group setting from Facilitator. During the last three months, Prayer Groups will begin to facilitate TPM with each other, the Leader and with people from outside the group (outreach).
~ Attends quarterly Filling Station
~ May also serve weekly as an Intercessor under a Mentor for Serenity Retreat prayer appointments.

BEYOND APPRENTICESHIP – THE NEW FACILITATOR
~ After one year, the Prayer Group Leader may recognize some Prayer Group Members as proficient enough to become Facilitators. They will be invited to become Facilitators of ministry sessions at Serenity Retreat.
~ Assigned to a Mentor Facilitator for several weeks until they feel completely confident in the role of Facilitator.
~ Attends Practicum once a month
~ Receives personal prayer often (once a month minimum)
~ Attends quarterly Filling Station

MENTOR FACILITATOR
~ After facilitating 30 sessions, is eligible for Advanced Theophostic Training
~ Attends Practicum once a month
~ Receives personal prayer often (once a month minimum)
~ Attends quarterly Filling Station
~ May be invited to become a Prayer Group Leader
