Serenity Retreat is involved in several campaign fundraising efforts. You can volunteer by hosting a campaign in your school, place of work, or neighborhood to collect:

~ Ink Cartridges
~ Cell Phones

Maintenance:

Volunteers needed to help with routine maintenance duties.

~ Washing Windows
~ Gardening
~ Ditch Clearing
~ Brush Clearing
~ Painting
~ Tree trimming
~ Etc.

Help with One-time Events

Volunteer to help with a project requiring many helpers on one particular day such as a holiday function, a fund-raiser or a mass training event.

We love sharing our support with other charitable organizations. We have been very blessed to receive good deeds from our local scouts and give them an opportunity to earn their patches. Below are a few ideas to help scouts earn their patches with Serenity Retreat.

Activity Badges:

~ Artists
- Create a Serenity Retreat Scrapbook (we would provide the pictures)
- Create a cross or Christian symbol by sculpting, drawing, painting or woodworking.

~ Citizen
- Put up a pole with the American, Texas, or Christian flag on our grounds
- Volunteer at Serenity Retreat (see volunteer opportunities at the top of the page)
- Hold a fundraiser for the charity, Serenity Retreat.

~ Craftsman
- Create a Bulletin Board for the offices
- Create a tool box for the maintenance items
- Create a key rack for the office (our parking is limited and we have to keep keys for the parked cars)
- Create a Bird House
- Create desk nameplates and other desk items
- Create planter boxes

~ Handyman
- Help with our lawn work
- Wash windows
- Wash cars
- Etc.

~ Forestry or Urban Forestry
- Plant trees on our grounds
- Plant flowers on our grounds
